i find rotten blazers in bushwick and restyle them for 1.9m people. this is the directory, the shop, and the brand-deal rate card in one place — not a linktree-with-a-color-swap.

shoulder pads: an occasional rant

2026-04-22 · rant

i think a lot about shoulder pads. specifically the years 1985-89, when entire silhouettes were built around the idea that the human shoulder needed a small flotation device. some of these are funny. most of these are rotten. let me explain.

/ what this site is

not a linktree. not a portfolio.
a place that does three things.

01

followers find what's rotten

the merch, the thrift stops, the journal, and (eventually) a paid tier with weekly drops. the stuff people DM me about, in one place they can find at 2am.

02

brands see the rate card

three tiers, flat pricing, clear deliverables. an inbound form i can answer in under five minutes instead of losing in my email.

03

an assistant logs in (eventually)

when i hire one in 6-12 months, she gets a scoped login: brand-deal admin, sponsorship inbox, scheduling. she does not see my DMs or my merch sales data. roles matter.

/ what's underneath

the toolset under the storefront.

/ shop

stripe checkout + drop tracking

limited-run merch with available/printed counts. each product is a story, not a SKU description.

/ find-it

phone-updatable thrift map

marlowe adds a new stop from her phone. neighborhood, hours, what she's found there.

/ work with me

brand-deal portal + inbox triage

three tiers, flat pricing, ai-suggested-but-not-sent reply drafts she edits and sends.

/ portal

customer order history

buyers re-download digital extras, track shipping, and (eventually) join the paid tier from one place.

/ journal

rants + finds + hauls + styling

long-form, lowercase, em-dash-heavy. the stuff that doesn't fit in a tiktok caption.

/ ops workspace

future assistant login (scoped)

brand-deals + sponsorship inbox + content calendar. NOT DMs, NOT merch sales data, NOT membership-tier list.

drops + thrift maps + the occasional rant — in your inbox.

monthly-ish. unsubscribe in one click. no drip, no upsell. NOT a launch funnel.
